Please Note: The club and bar closing times are subject to course utilisation and are a GUIDE. Times may be earlier if there are 10 or less members/visitors remaining in the clubhouse (Excluding Staff) OR later if the clubhouse is busy including functions.

The club has excellent bar and restaurant facilities, offering bar snacks, à la carte catering, Sunday roasts and regular social events. If you are not a golfer, you can still enjoy our facilities by becoming a social member. Many local residents have taken advantage of the low Social Membership subscription and competitive bar and catering prices.

*My sincere thanks to Paul Bodle & his staff for the fantastic experience we had, both organising and holding our Golden Wedding Celebration Dinner at the Golf Club.
From the planning to the final arrangements Paul & his staff were superb. Nothing was too much trouble. We were made to feel both relaxed and assured.

I can do no better than quote from an email I received on Monday:

“…The Saturday evening was particularly good with great food and, IMHO, a very talented singer and guitarist. I think I mentioned that I have become rather critical of restaurant/hotel type food because it is so rarely as good as one would expect but the food on Saturday was exceptional and the steak was as good as I have ever eaten. Actually it is not just MHO, because the same sentiments were echoed by many others. A triumph all round! “

That comment was indeed the overwhelming view. A few said that, while their golf club could be relied upon to produce good meals, the standard of service, the superb quality of the food, the friendly and inobtrusive way in which the service was provided, and the overall atmosphere in the room, was well in excess of what they could expect!
